THE MAKING OF NƠM SANDALS

Taking cues from the nostalgic days of rural life, Nơm sandals — named after the traditional Vietnamese fishing gear — find their new context as an attention-grabbing item, offering versatility to style them your way. With its sleek lines and curved silhouette, the intricate design of Nơm sandals requires a keen eye for detail and a skilled hand. Each pair is crafted with dedication, representing the artistry of the craftsmen. In this journal, let us humbly unveil the process of bringing this stunning piece to life.

STARTING FROM SCRATCH

The making process initiates by sourcing the finest leather materials. These are then hand-cut and shaped according to precise patterns. What makes Nơm sandals a statement piece is its intricate weaving. Our craftsmen carefully intertwine the leather strands, creating a unique shape of a fish trap. Each strand is bent and punctured, creating a loop through which the sandal’s strap is threaded. This sophisticated part is where craftsmanship is honored, as every detail – from the weaving to the stitching, is executed manually with precision.

Our Nơm sandals feature a sunken footbed sole with our logo stamped on. The sole is rigorously wrapped in microfiber and TPR to provide a soft and supportive base for your feet.

BRIDGING THE GAP

Continuing, the sole is delicately prepared to receive the woven upper strap handcrafted with attention to details.

FINISHING TOUCH

Once the upper and sole are securely attached, the sandal encounter a final gluing process to make them sturdy and durable. Last but certainly not least, each pair of Nơm sandals undergone a final quality inspection before reaching our waa.ers.
