OUR FIRST STEP INTO APPAREL
As we thought about what clothing could mean to us, we kept coming back to the essentials. The pieces often reached for when not quite sure what to wear.
The ones that seem to find their place alongside what is already in the wardrobe, feeling just as natural on ordinary days as they do on moments that ask for something more. Over time, they become part of the routine that reaching for them no longer requires much thought.
With that in mind, our first apparel collection brings together everyday essentials together with a few basics that come with a twist. This collection includes a short sleeve crew neck knit tee in Black and a matching set available in Black, White, and Greige. The set consists of a shirt and a pair of pants that come with a detachable wrapping piece.
DIFFERENT WAYS – SAME GARMENTS
From the beginning, we were interested in different ways of wearing the same garments. Pieces that can be worn on their own, worn together as a set, or styled differently depending on the occasion and the lifestyle of the wearer.
The addition of the wrapping piece opens up different ways of styling. Sometimes subtle, sometimes more of a statement, with just a litle shift of styling that changes the whole look.
A shirt often needs to balance a sense of structure with ease of movement. With that in mind, we chose a fabric that holds its shape while remaining comfortable for repeated wear.
Following a similar idea, the pants feature an elastic waistband and a lightly draped fabric that moves comfortably throughout the day while maintaining a clean appearance. Whether worn individually or together, the intention remains the same: clothing that settles naturally into everyday life and crafted to be relied on over time.
