OUR KẸP
During the summer season, it is a traditional practice to associate flip-flops with agreeable weather conditions. This connection has evolved into a deeply rooted aspect of our collective awareness. Especially in Việt Nam, we have a monsoon-influenced climate, an ideal weather condition to wear flip-flop sandals. And summer is also our favorite time of the year, that's why we decided to launch a special product for this season, "Dép Kẹp".
In Saigon, we can see many different flip-flop designs on the streets., making them a common commodity in every household. However, leather sandals have limited options and are not popular with younger generations. We came up with an idea to create leather sandals that cater to these demands. We wanted to make a product that provides exceptional comfort. The soft, supple leather molds to the contours of your feet, ensuring a comfortable fit and reducing any potential discomfort that can arise from prolonged wear.
It may seem easy to make a pair of flip-flops, but we had to create over 20 samples before approving the final product. The strap and shape were carefully decided to ensure easy slip-on wear, lightweight construction, and optimal ventilation.
Kẹp was then very well received, thereby helping to strengthen the belief in the development direction of our basic leather sandals.
