Partnering with The Bloom and Gốm Saigon, we thrive to bring out a place where both contemporary and local elements blend together, hoping to add warmth and cozy ambiance to this special event.
A COLLABORATION WITH THE BLOOM
In the heart of our creative journey, we found ourselves crossing paths with The Bloom, a botanical design studio whose vision resonated with our own. After collaborating on several projects, we were excited to invite Mrs. Phuong, the founder of The Bloom, to join us for a special event—a cozy gathering we lovingly named Quây Quần, which translates to 'togetherness'.
One rainny afternoon, we visited The Bloom’s studio, where the air was thick with creativity and the scent of flowers. As we shared our vision for Quây Quần, we could see the spark of excitement in her eyes. She immediately embraced the idea, her mind already swirling with inspiration.
Drawing from her memories of Tet—the Vietnamese New Year, a time when families come together to "Quây Quần" —she recalled how Vietnamese mothers would gather at the market, selecting the finest fruits and rice to prepare for their festive celebrations. This nostalgic ritual became the heart of her vision for our event. The preparation began with a trip to the local market, where we strolled together, filling our arms with vibrant Vietnamese fruits. The joy of selecting each item mirrored the warmth we hoped to create during the gathering.
GỐM SAIGON - A HIDDEN GEM IN THE HEART OF SAIGON
In the bustling heart of Saigon, where the vibrant energy of Nguyen Hue street pulses day and night, lies Gốm Saigon—a true hidden gem. We’ve admired this iconic space for years, but it wasn’t until we stepped inside that we realized it was the perfect venue for our upcoming event.
As we walked through the doors, we were immediately enveloped by the serene ambiance that defines Gốm Saigon. The decor exuded a wabi-sabi vibe, celebrating the beauty of imperfection with its raw, simple elements. The natural light poured in, especially during the golden hour between 5 and 6 PM, casting a warm glow that danced across the room. It felt as though time stood still, allowing us to soak in the atmosphere and envision our gathering within its walls.
A 'QUÂY QUẦN' NIGHT
On the day of the gathering, as the Bloom team transformed Gốm Saigon, they wove together traditional elements with a modern twist. Coconut leaves mingled with our signature white orchids, creating an enchanting centerpiece that celebrated both heritage and innovation. The atmosphere blossomed with color and texture, each detail reflecting a story of connection. The two tables were filled with warmth, laughter, and an abundance of fruits, with Gốm Saigon's ceramics elegantly enhancing the display of fruits and floral arrangements, creating a feast for the eyes that left our guests in awe.
Quây Quần was more than just an event; it was a celebration of community and creativity. Collaborating with The Bloom and Gốm Saigon allowed us to capture the essence of togetherness, reminding us all of the beauty found in simple gatherings. Together, we created a memorable occasion that lingered in the hearts of our guests long after the last rays of sunlight faded—a true testament to the spirit of togetherness.
